During my internship in the summer of 2024 with Onward Reserve, I had the privilege of stepping into the media manager role for the CEO’s podcast, Unreserved With TJ Callaway. Each episode is filmed and recorded in the home or environment of the podcast guest, which adds a unique and personalized touch to each episode. One of the highlights was traveling to Nashville to film an episode with country music star Conner Smith. After my internship concluded, I continued in this role as a contracted media manager, working remotely from Chapel Hill.
In this position, I oversee everything from video production to social media management. I create video clips and graphics for promotional content, and I manage the podcast’s Instagram and TikTok accounts to grow engagement and reach. Whether it’s curating clips that capture the heart of each episode or organizing cool giveaways related to the podcast guests, my goal is to keep the content fresh, engaging, and true to the podcast's brand.

Filmed on Deer Run Plantation in Leary, Georgia, the site of the photo shoot for Onward Reserve’s 2024 fall line. Mack lives on and manages the 18,000-acre property with his wife, Mackie. Yes, Mack and Mackie, and they’re absolutely DARLING.

A team of us flew to Nashville, TN, with TJ to film this episode in Conner’s living room, which was beyond cool. Getting an inside look not only at how the episodes are produced but also at the commentary that goes on behind the scenes is an unreal and invaluable experience.
